In this video we make a large sand pit measuring 2.6m * 2.6m using railway sleepers. A sandpit like this will keep kids entertained for hours.
The total cost of this project was in the region of £400 as the railway sleepers cost £200 and the sand was £150.
It's important to keep a sand pit like this covered to stop cats using it as a litter tray!
