How to cut and thread steel conduit

Published

Steel conduit in the UK is often found in 20mm and 25mm diameter, which can be galvanised or painted black. In order to fix boxes to the conduit, it is necessary to thread the end using a stock and die of the correct thread. Normally conduit threads are metric, whereas pipe fittings for steel pipe are Imperial sizes.
