Hi, Just enquiring if someone can offer me some thoughts and suggestions? I'm going to be doing some wall panelling using MR MDF and would like to achieve a smooth pristine finish, similar to the pictures below.
I have been advised to have the finished panels sprayed in situ to achieve the best finish. Are they any suggestions of types of paints / methods that should be used to achieve a smooth consistent finish like in the pictures below? Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
thanks, John

My link below may help. Aqua satin goes on really smooth but you need to get the sealing coats right.

There's a guy on YouTube that does this for a living. If you search through his channel you might find a few tips. He's American but that shouldn't make a difference. I think the Americans call it Wainscotting.

Getting a high quality finish isn't that hard, but correct preparation and technique is essential.
HVLP spray finish is the way to go IMHO. I assume satin finish will be your chosen sheen?
