I messed up on varnish

Hi guys

Need some help here, I managed to mess up on my varnishing ( I have attached an image ) how would you guys try and fix this ?

Paint over it white like I said in your previous post. Varnish is old hat now.

Looks like different absorption rates due to the previous stain being patchy.

One way to fix it is to apply more coats of stain, with a light sanding in between coats, until you build up enough coats to negate the patches. Allow plenty of time in between coats for the previous coat to dry or the brush will drag (if it's not quick-drying stain, I would leave it 24 hours between coats). You might need to do half a dozen or more coats to get it all looking even.

If it was me, I would follow DWD's advice and paint over it as it will look much better (as long as you do it correctly).

This is normal. It just needs more varnish or stained varnish.
