Exterior wall peeling paint removal
Hi, my garden wall has this paint which is slowly falling off/peeling away. Looks like it was maybe sprayed on? I want to take it all off and re-paint the plaster/cement behind. I've tried chipping at it with a scraper, which is really slow. Is there an easier way to get it off, e.g. with a machine or chemicals? I don't want to re-render the wall (I know it's a mess and I really should - the gap at the bottom is due to foot high decking we took out). Many thanks, George

Pressure washer.
You can get a nozzle (for Karcher at least, I've got one) that sucks kiln-dried sand out of a bag and mixes it with the jet, a form of sand-blasting.

Thanks both. I think the render’s too fragile for a jet washer. Elbow grease and scraper then, unless I find a willing handyman with grinder.
