Damp plasterboard

Hello, My bathroom has damp plasterboard on one wall which doesn't want to dry out.

There is a storage room next to the bathroom, and the wall facing the bathroom also has damp plasterboard, which won't dry.

Would it be best to replace the damp board? Which I am tempted to do, or could i get away with applying some kind of damp proofing liquid to the walls.

Presumably, the plasterboard would be fixed on both sides to a timber frame?

You seem to have a serious problem there, get someone in to have a proper look at it.

It looks like the wet stuff is coming from the bottom up. Not good :-(

If its not drying it means the source of the water is still there, fix that and it will dry.

Must be a source of water there. maybe one of those CH pipes is leaking ? Check when cold.
