Definitely fancy the cordless vac. I missed out on a cordless DeWalt on Gumtree yesterday.

I'll be interested to hear how powerful the cordless vac is. It's not something I need at the moment but good to see how technology is improving. If it was reasonably powerful enough I could see how it would be really useful for certain jobs.

Re: Parkside tools out 28th March
I was doing a job after Christmas. The customer commented how tidy I was and how I vacuumed every hole I was drilling. She said the last guy just left it lying on the floor. I think it's a must now.
I just wish it could be adapted to take DeWalt batteries. I hate having several different brands of chargers and batteries.

if they have any left when I go in, would be interested in this
https://www.lidl.co.uk/en/MiddleofLidl. ... 21147&ar=2
I recently purchased one from toolstation and have found useful
https://www.toolstation.com/guide-clamp/p81581
BUT would not use as a clamp - tried on a gate and didnt work, so not sure about the claim
Also suitable for securing your workpiece when gluing
But the Angle facility in the image
Cutting angle: 0–20°
is interesting , however, often at my local they run out of these items quite quickly

Re: Parkside tools out 28th March
Purchased the clamp guide rail this morning; haven't had a chance to take a proper look at it yet due to exhausting baby sitting duties today... should get a chance to try it out this week though so will report back.
Was hoping to check out the cordless vac too but alas it seems I was too late; must have sold out in my local store already.
