Hi
Hope this is the right bit of the forum.
I am trying to stop moisture getting into the roof space as it seems to be condensing slot.
We have 3 LEDs in the bathroom that has a shower in. While we have an extractor I imagine a fair bit is going through the downlights that are just sitting in the roof.
I was wondering if I should silicone them in on the loft side?
Would that be ok?
Cheers

Re: Silicone bath LEDs
Don't see that being a problem personally. Is there a massive gap? Do they not sit flush in the hole? Did someone cut the holes too big?

Re: Silicone bath LEDs
If you have a decent airflow through the loft space it shouldn't result in condensation.
Pull the insulation in the loft back from the eaves if that is blocking airflow.
Otherwise more info on how the loft is vented.
