Hi, I have moved into a property with all the walls painted white. There are a few scuff marks that I would like touched up but I'm unsure as to the exact shade of white used and the brand of paint. Is there anything I can do in order to get an exact match and therefore buy the paint I need for this?
Many Thanks

Re: Paint Colour Matching
Not really. Even if all the walls were painted with the same shade of white, are there are many, if they were painted at different times and/or with different paints, then it would be virtually impossible to touch up the paint without it showing.
The only chance is if you are able to contact the previous occupants and see if they know what paint was used. Have you checked the shed / garage / under-stairs cupboard / loft as these are common places for people to store leftover paint. However, even if you found the actual paint brand, colour, and finish, it is still unlikely that the fresh patches will blend in.
