Removing paint from chrome switches
Whats the best way of removing paint from chrome light switches and hinges, the paint has dried on and wont just scrape off without leaving scratches all over the switches.

You could try hot soapy water, and one of those green sponge thingys, where is rough one side and smooth on the other.
I sometimes use 'brushcleaner', I have got paint off carpets, switches, PVC, even an expensive Cashmere jacket, ( dont ask) it really is good stuff, but you have to let it soak in for a couple of mins, then just wipe off.

I would rather want something I dont have, that have something I dont want

I saw a video a few months back, This guy put paint covered door handles and hinges into an OLD slow cooker with water and some baking soda turned it on and left it overnight, Next morning the paint just fell off.
Not sure about the light switches unless you can remove the chrome bit from the switch.
