Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.
If gloom had a voice, it would be me.

Today I..........................
Made some sawdust, played with the 1/4 router and the nail gun put some primer on - swapped a 256gb Sata ssd for a 500gb M.2 (Samsung evo)
nice bit of timber Chippo very expensive plained, I don't have the skills for finer wood work these days

What are we all doing ?
Going back to an earlier post of mine, yesterday was "chutney making day" , I had just over 4 Lbs of green and under-ripe tommies, a mix of cherry and normal sized...
40 minutes of chopping later.
Then adjusted the recipe quantities to suit the 4lb of tomatoes, into the large stockpot... If you had never made chutney before then you would think there was no where near enough vinegar in there, trust me, don't add more.
As it turned out, I had just enough ingredients for 9 1/2 lb jars, by a happy coincidence although I have over 20 jars I only had 9 new lids in stock.

Someone-Else, The black seeds are fruit flies...
Only kidding
1 tablespoon of black onion seeds * (sometimes called nigella or kalonji seeds
Thought I had posted the recipe in this thread, turns out it was cookery corner. Search "Chutney" in the dedicated search on the forum if you are interested.

Pinball machine is no more, due to the lack of space among other things. But i will be making a controller with the buttons once my shoulder settles down

Did this little job for some one over last couple of days , they wanted the old rescued , but was more rot than wood , so made new and refitted old wonky gate to appease the need to up cycle
I just realised looking at the photos that I had never noticed the lamp standard whilst I was there ! , better get me eyes tested.

Yes, ok, really easy to install, no plumbing required, but it sure does feel nice.
