Hi all,
Like a few at the moment I thought I'd spruce up the house while waiting for god
Upstairs landing is tired and the corners of the walls have been caulked to death.
I'm in no position to replaster so wondered what the best tool would be to rake this out and make good?

Sharp Stanley knife, a chisel or flat scraper blade should do it. Try and use the profiles of the wall as a guide.

Probably too late now, I would opt for OLFA snappable blade knifes (I think it would be the 18mm blades flexible enough but also strong), a filling knife as it is sharp and a scraper for muscle. Cut it out and redo the corner.

So raked out the old stuff. Had to re caulk and now getting cracks over the paint.
Should I use a primer of some description to avoid this?
