This site was started in December 2004 and has over 1000 pages to date, it's aim is to help people with DIY tasks from the very simple to the very complex. I have no previous experience of website building ( you can probably tell) but I wished to share my knowledge with everyone. The site is difficult to navigate as there are so many pages but the best way is to search for your specific area of interest from the search field on each page or look alphabetically on the contents page, there is also a Forum where you can ask any questions or leave comments.

Hopefully this site will help people as I hate to see people being ripped off, perhaps it will give a insight to how much work is involved in doing certain tasks, which will hopefully prevent people from being the victim of cowboys and rip off merchants.

This site was featured in issue 111 of web user magazine in June 2005.

This site would not look like it does today without the help of the guys in the web user forum, so thanks to Nanook, Bumpyride, Greysts and all other users that have always been there to answer my questions.

I am very grateful to web user magazine for featuring my site in their readers website section. This is my first piece of publicity and has increased the hits to my site significantly.

On Thursday March 1st 2007 The site was featured on page 14 of the Lancashire Telegraph. The article is quite large and so if you click on the picture it will enlarge.

Sam Shale did an excellent job of writing the article and I am really happy with how it turned out, the photographer even managed to get a good picture and I am not the most photogenic person in the world!
