Rain water drains can soon become blocked with leaves and soil etc. This waste settles in the trap beneath the drain and causes the pipe to block. In extreme cases this can cause your property to flood, so it’s essential to check all drains around the property at least once per year. For drains with slow moving water or completely blocked drains it is a good idea to clear them using a set of drain rods. This will ensure that any water will be drained away from your property as quickly as possible.
