In this video we silicone around a bath

This is made much more difficult as the old silicone and also a sealing strip needed removing first. After removing most of the silicone sealant a chemical was applied to remove the rest of the silicone. After the silicone was scraped away the area was cleaned using methylated spirits (denatured alcohol) and then the area was re-caulked using a good quality silicone sealant, this was then tooled to get a perfect shape using a Fughi tooling kit. It’s important to fill the bath before re-siliconing the gap to prevent it from pulling away from the wall at a later date.
