The Dewalt DWS780 is a 12 inch double bevel sliding mitre saw, the blade is 305mm or 12 inches. This sliding mitre saw has a 1675w motor and is powerful enough to cut the hardest timber. This mitre saw uses XPS technology to illuminate the blade, which creates a shadow directly where the blade will cut, this is much more accurate than a laser and will never require calibrating (unlike a laser). The Dewalt DWS780 has 5 speed settings, which means you can cut harder materials at slower speeds when required. The maximum cross cut at 90 degrees is 349mm, although by using a 38mm deep board you can cut up to 16.1 inches (409mm).
