Tiles have been used for thousands of years and are becoming more and more popular. Below are some examples of the properties of each type of tile. Please click on the relevant tile picture or text for detailed advice on each type of tile.

Quarry tiles have been made in the UK for hundreds of years and normally come in Terracotta colour and Black and white.

Stainless steel tiles can look great and are normally used on walls, for kitchen splash backs etc.

  Terracotta Tiles   Terracotta

 

 

Terracotta tiles are made from local clays and tend to be very absorbent, so may need sealing.
