I am looking to remove a yorkstone fireplace in next couple of days and being a novice i have no idea how to go about it. I have had the gas capped.

Is the york stone worth me keeping and trying to sell?

is it dressed stone? any chance of a pic?
if you are looking to sell, then take pics whilst still in situ as any buyer would want to know what they are potentially buying.
what do you actually mean by 'removing'? is this a fake fireplace? are you taking down a chimney breast?
