I wondered whether to sell our girls' swing and get a trampoline with enclosure instead. The only thing worrying me is the safety issue. I wondered whether a sunken trampoline would work.
If I was to dig a hole and line it to stop the sides falling in (We have a clay garden) then add drainage material, so that it wasn't a pool, whether I could sit a trampoline in it. I was thinking about siting it so that the trampoline top was a few inches above the ground in order to get a cover on it still. Would it work? :scratch:

I'm just thinking it through at the moment, so I'm open to suggestions.

If your garden is clay, adding drainage material won't be enough, you'll need to instal a pump!

Hitch,

I was looking at an 8' one with an enclosure. I wondered if you reduce the fall height whether it'd be safer, I've not been on one since I was a teenager, so I just don't know.

Maybe our garden is just unsuitable. :roll:

My neighbour has an 8' one and her kids use it constantly - I've never know them being injured!
