I used to watch Sex in the City on tv, I've not seen the film. Now, I know it's a chick flick but is it worth buying or not?

How can you comment if you've never seen it? I suppose you hate Desperate Housewives too!

Never watched sex in the city. Never will. I have watched desperate housewife and it is actually quite funny. I wouldn't go out and buy the DVDs though.

I liked Mr Big in the series and wondered if he married the girl!
I have to admit to liking CSI more these days.

I recently watched The lake house, that's a heart warming tale!

the original CSI is very good. all the Law & Order series I think are good as well.

Recently caught "Criminal Minds" - drama about FBI.

The yanks do crime investigation drama really well :thumbright:

Nothing could be as bad as the Waltons.

Mrs Stoday has bought the DVD showing episodes only shown in the USA. If I walk in the room when sh's watching it, I can recognise it as the Waltons within 5 seconds.

It's the sickly grins on their faces. :angryfire: They are all far too nice.
:puke:

I bought the complete set of "When the Boat Comes In"

I guess you could say that is like a "Waltons for Stoday"

I really enjoyed that first time round, but as they never repeated it, had to buy it instead

I like Last of the Summer wine, especially Compo, funnily enough I used to know people like him when I lived in rural Cheshire.

 :?

Lou, either you or I (or both) have a really bad taste in TV programmes.

LOTSW was possibly one of the worst comedies ever on TV
