Hi,

can anyone help offer advice to my problem, we have a worcester bosch 28si old model, serviced approx 18 mths ago. we also have drayton digistat RF wireless thermostat operating too. this is sending a signal to the SCR receiver unit next to the boiler fine. Hot water works and boiler fires up straight away. However, when we turn the dial on the thermostat to increase temperature of the central heating, the signal is sent but no fire up on the boiler - nothing at all

House temp of 13 C so its cold!!! - have comissioned the thermostat, replaced batteries as suggested but still no CH

Pressure gauge on boiler is nearly 0 - have tried to refill system via internal loop, water is juct going out the external overfill pipe outside. Whenthe CH was working last week, pressure gauge went upto 1-1.5, then dropped to 0 when turned off/cold again

any ideas warmly welcomed

thanks

You need to get the PRV sorted and the expansion vessel pre-charge checked.

There's a video how to in the heating index.

Not all boilers are the same but it covers the basics.
