just a bit of advice if anyone can help.
i am fitting a woodburner in my kitchen and the chimney will be going out through a flat roof,does anyone have any advice or has anyone done this before and can give me any points that i may need to know.
any help is gratefully received. |

Download and read very carefully Approved document J.
You would be better getting an expert flue Company in to supply and install the flue. _________________ Scruff |

cant get anyone in as the run on the chimney is less than 4m so no hetas engineer will do the job.
i am going to use a turbo cowling on the chimney to give me the draw. |

If the flue doesn't clear the building it is likely to be illegal.
Ask yourself why the engineers will not do the job, you also need to get it past building control. _________________ Scruff |
