This home made wood burning pen is powered by a 12v battery charger. The nichrome wire for the tips came from the water heating element of an old washing machine. You can twist the wire into different shapes to suit what your'e drawing.

This vase was turned from a part of a ficus trunk. then i decorated it by burning some designs a giving it a coat of transparent laquer.

At the moment i've ground to a halt as the heat is terrible over here. After work i'm off to some open air pub to enjoy some cold beer. Will resume turning when summer ends.
