in the middle of doing up kitchen ,used to have just a free standing cooker connected to cooker switch
now got (well ordered) a Ceramic hob and seperate double oven
Hob

Will both units go into same switch ? ,im guessing here that having 3 lots of 6mm cable in the single switch will be a nightmare to fit

Just to add ..the old cooker switch is wired back to a 32amp MCB

Seeing as nobody is answering, come back IDBI :sad:

They should be on seperate circuits. The largest rated appliance on the 32mcb- the hob yes?

haha i was thinking that

Was afraid you would say seperate circuits ,i have a electrian friend coming round to do the wiring (he is away at the minute) i was just going to do the donkey work ready for him
so does that mean running another cable back to CU ?

The oven can be plugged straight into a 13A socket, hob will be on the old cooker outlet, may need to change circuit breaker though.

Thanks for replies ,just doing the donkey work ready for eleccy to connect
when you say change the circuit breaker do you mean from a 32 to 45 ?
