I know that the various catch-up services and the BBC channels can be watched online, but if I went that route I'd lose all of the other Freeview channels.

I certainly ain't going to be paying for a channel package to get what I can currently get for free.

I might have found an alternative route for a cable but it does mean taking down the coving in the hallway. Not too much of a disaster since I was planning to redecorate in there sometime in the next 12 months anyway.

For now I've got hold of a 15m cable and I'll just string that from the booster to the living room TV and run like that for a week or so to confirm that it'll fix the problem.
