Im new to the forum just wanting a lead in the right direction.
i have a new potterton 28he combi boiler and i fitted the 24 hr timer switch what come with it..
i now want to install a wireless room stat to it.
what i want to know is can i fit the wireless stat and leave the 24hr clock in tact or do i have to isolate the 24 hr clock before i fit the new wireless stat. Helpful advice would be appreciated..

Well if you are just fitting a wireless thermostat you will need to keep the clock,as both items will be used in daily operation of heating

If you are fitting programmable wireless thermostat you will disconnect the clock on the boiler so it does not over ride the new unit

Yes link them together or you can just leave clock on constant,I prefer linking out clock as stops human operation error in future

You can do that or follow wiring back to main terminal block and disconnect and link black wire terminals there
