i'm the same mate. try and help alot of people in the plastering section and sometimes wonder why i bother. I came home from work and a card had been pushed through the door from a local repair man, turned out he lived 100 yards away haha. came round about 10 minutes after i rang him, had a look at it here, took it home to his workshop and had it back and sorted all within a couple of hours.

Fortunately we don't have the problem in the plumbing/heating, most posters show their appreciation and give us feed back on the progress. :thumbright:

There's wireless G, and wireless B, so makes sense. :thumbright:

g should be backwards compatible with b. N is also backwards compatible with g and b. a on the other hand is a different frequency, but thats not to say you can't get a card that supports a,b,g and n - but not normally at the same time.

Routers are either b, g or n or a - but you can also get dual band now too that can operate on dual frequencies at the same time.

Clear, init.
