Can anyone recommend any cheap window restrictors to fit to uPVC sash windows (the type that would restrict how much you could slide up the bottom portion for safety reasons). I'm looking for something that is cheap and easy to fit (i.e. can just be screwed on without any routing).

The type of window I have is like these Image

Thanks,

Ian

I don't think so, I think this is more for windows that open outwards, i.e. hinged at the top, rather than slide up/down like a sash window...

Thanks, I've seen these but they require you to use a router on the window for them to slot in to, which I'd rather not do....

I've seen the Jacklock restrictors but they are a little pricey.

I'll keep on looking but if anyone else has any tips then I'd more than welcome them.

Thanks for your suggestions so far.

If you don't want to cut some holes you will have to use the Jackloc ones, (although i think they look horrible) have a look at these, much smaller hole to cut than the others

Thanks, I agree these look a lot more discrete.
