John Grisham at the 'mo, 'Skipping Christmas'. Then again, I can get through 2 books on a weekend, downloading onto a Kindle!

Does the Kindle keep a running record of number of page turns? I read around 2 hours every night. Have done this since I got a Sony ebook reader back in 2009 (since changed to a Kindle though) and have ploughed through dozens (wish I'd kept a record of them but I figure on over 100 books) in that time.

Can't seem to get enough of them and tend to find authors that have 'series' and run through the lot in one go.

Currently 'doing' Stephen Baxters Xeelee series (6).

Just finished Spike Milligans (5), Harry Turtledove (11), Robert Jordan (13), Ken Follet (8), Patrick O'Brien (22) to mention just a few....... Terry Pratchett (millions... )

Arthur C Clarke (all of them), Tom Clancy (all), John Grisham (same except for the one you're reading SSM - must get that one), Wilbur Smith (all).... it goes on and on

Currently I am reading a book on Simon Dee, a sixties TV presenter and former pirate radio jock. I am also reading a Len Deighton book Only when I Larf about a team of con artists. I read this first time back in the 60's so I feel I am revisiting my teens at the moment.

From reading that I'd like to recommend both Alastair Reynolds & Stephen Donaldson if you've not tried them yet .... and also just remembered, Peter F. Hamilton

My current library haul includes:- Stoneware - Richard Dewar, The Quantum Thief - Hannu Rajaniemi, Kiss of the Night - Sherrilyn Kenyon.

I'm still waiting to see a Lee Child in my local library, I may have to give them a nudge.
