Do you mean, Site Management Safety Training Scheme

CITB directly is your best bet they have quite a few centres (nearest one to London is Erith, in Kent what's 40 mins by train from London bridge, others will fast track you for £££-££££

SMSTS is available from a whole slew of companies. As to who is best, I doubt that there is much in it between many of them. As to who is cheapest; it is a very volatile market and you'll need to do a bit of Internet trawling to find out which course supplier meets your price/location/time frame criteria. One thing I will say, from experience (I have an SMSTS cert), is that an SMSTS qualification on its' own is completely and utterly worthless and will probably not help you get a job. As a minimum, in the construction industry, you will need at the very least a CSCS trade card, a 3-day First Aid cert. and a UKATA Asbestos Awareness cert (and other stuff like PASMA and IPAF if you are to be taken seriously). If you want to go into full-blown project management then an appropriate degree (with practical experience) or NVQ Level 7 will be required to get a black card, although there are other pathways.
