Bloody hell Royal, can't you move out a bit that sounds a terrible environment to live in.

Guys, if you are comparing present with past, then you need to take a good look at the past.
Get yourself a copy of The Road to Wigan Pier, written by George Orwell.
He wrote about working men's lives in the 1930's.
Try it. It will make you reconsider everything in your daily circumstances.

The strange thing about human psyche is our inability to find contentment. I do not really think what level of life you live in you still have the same worries and problems and few live in blissful acceptance of their lot. The thing is that you would gladly take on others issues if you perceive them to be far less onerous than your own but to the person concerned they can dominate their very existence. If you can be arsed this is worth a read as it does make it all a bit easier to understand http://psychclassics.yorku.ca/Maslow/motivation.htm

If we and our loved ones are healthy, if we have somewhere comfortable and safe to live, if we have food and enough money to get by and we have reasonable mobility and social contact then we should be thankful. Of course it does not work that way.

I started to read DWD's link.

After a short time I found that I was rapidly losing the will to live...

You have to skip through it to the section 'How to be bored quickly'

It has took me 3 years to chill out and stop wanting to kill every one lol.

Should have gone a fecking long time ago and bought some where for cash. Long story, don't ask but something is missing so we are stuck! A lot is missing lol. We will get there in the end if it is meant to be.

perhaps ending up here was meant to be a big lesson for me.
