i am thinking about putting in a shower but keep getting differnt advice what i would like to know is which is the best a combi shower or an electric shower thanks for any help

Make/model of combi, what is the mains pressure like, how far away is the consumer unit, how old is nthe combi.

Do you want a back-up when the boiler breaks down.

I'm gonna move this post to the plumbing.

it is a promax H-E plus about 2 years old pressure is pretty good combi is downstairs shower is upstairs

Both can give you a good shower, so really a question of do you want a back-up.

Electric can be more expensive to install, depending on how long the cable has to be, if cost is an issue.

Combi you can Diy, electric needs to be installed and signed off.

ok thank have you any preferences on electric showers is there one you would reccomend

I've always been a Mira fan, but see what the other have to say.

I think Plumbworld have some very good prices at the moment.
