Hi and thanks for looking, I have a shower to tile, it has cement based board on timber stud on the walls and I am using ceramic tiles, I need to build it out a bit as it is not quite level. Which adhesive and grout that is readily available would be best to use.
Also in the areas that need building up should I let the layer of adhesive dry before putting the top layer on, It seemed pointless plastering over the cement based board then using the adhesive .... have I got this right ?
Thanks in anticipation
Baza

if the tile backer boards can be removed and re-leveled i'd do that first, if not or it's just the odd dip here and there then yeah get a flexible rapid setting cement based addy and fill out the areas you need, wait to dry then carry on tiling. Put please bare in mind that even cement based addys have maximum depth level at which they can be used, so be sure to read the data sheets of that addy, if you need to go deep then get a thickbed addy for filling out
