Currently in the process of building a concrete shed base. From a little research it appears the membrane is to placed BENEATH the MOT 1. However other sources say it is to be laid on TOP of the MOT 1.

I've already laid and compacted the MOT 1, can I place a membrane on it then the concrete on top?

Thanks :)

I laid a membrane on top of the compacted hardcore substrate when I did my outbuildings. As it was pretty uneven I blinded it with sand to prevent the membrane getting pierced in places. The bases I laid have been down 20 years and are fine.

That's pretty much how our garage floor was laid this year.

You probably get more things right than me, and believe me I've made a few boo boos over the years for which my wife is ever so keen to point out ( bless her! ).
