Metalworking.

Not really.

New to the forum, so please bear with with me.

The scenario.

A cottage that is largely unoccupied during the Winter months which, if left unvented, turns green.

It has inward opening windows and shutters on the outside.

Currently we are using a nylon/plastic fly screen velcro'd into the frame of the opening lights, but I know that if some rodent or other happens to get past the shutters, then it wouldn't be long before they chewed through, or clawed down, the mesh. And, besides which, the current arrangement looks a bit 'tatty'.

I am appealing for suggestions as to possible suppliers of a metallic fly screen, something which is commonplace in the States, but which seems to be something of a rarity in the UK.

And if Midlands based, then all the better. In reality, due to the sizes, I'd need to buy it 'off the roll'.

Thanks.

It looks promising, and not too far away.
