I'm proud to be English first and British second, don't get me wrong I'm not a member of the BNP but I'm fed up with always feeling that it's a bad thing to be English just in case we upset the foreigners in this country. Live and let live, I reckon. I think the lack of pride in our Patron Saint's Day is a joke and I think we ought to celebrate St. George's Day instead of giving it a one line mention on the news and in the media. The Welsh celebrate, The Irish and Scots celebrate, so why don't we? What do you think we should do?

This is interesting.
St. George facts
St Pirans day 5th March. I've not ventured further than Devon, so that's new to me!

Boudica would have been a good one had she not been a pagan.
