I've got some 15mm plastic lines on a static caravan, coupled using what appear to be push-fit connections but actually are compression glands - well, they've got olives in them.... What are these called? Silly question I suppose but is 'plastic compression gland' correct?

Thanks for the info Scruff. The attached pic shows the problem - I have t-piece with one open end going nowhere and want to replace it with a 90 degree bend. The t-piece is shown with the various 'bits' as canabalised from an older piece of pipework. I see now that it's not strictly an olive-type fitting (although there ARE olive versions in amongst the rest of the pipework) ut I'm still at a loss as to how to describe this fitting (as shown) to get the correct 90 degree piece.

:dunno:

That would be an Hep2° pushfit tee, you want the same elbow, and don't forget the inserts.

Actually I don't need the inserts as they're all still on the original pipework - I only need the elbow!

Anyway, that's another little bit of knowledge garnered from this forum - excellent! :thumbright:

Hmmm, cursory search on eBay and Screwfux reveals nothing...

Any suggestions on where I'd go for one of these? - forget it.... thanks anyway, found it on general Google search. :thumbright:
