In my company, email addresses are made up from the first name initial, middle name initial and then the surname up to a total of 8 letters before the "@" - so Ultimate Handyman would be uhandyma@ultuimatehandyman.co.uk for example.

New person started and they had to think of a different format for Mrs Carol Untworthy

I heard a tanoy call in my local supermarket for a Mrs Goodlay, which isnt such a bad name, but imagine a conversation that goes like this....

'Here, guess who I bumped into the other day'?
'Who'?
' jackie'?
'Jackie who'
'Jackie, you know, one of the Goodlays'
