Cards on the table, I'm a Man Utd fan and I think Wayne is one of the best talents in world football.

However, there is something seriously wrong with the guy which concerns me for the upcoming English season. One of the reasons I think he is a telented guy is his desire to track back, his ability to fight for the ball back if he loses it and the way he will challenge for the ball (fairly) even when its not in his favour.

I watched him closely today, I didn't see him make one tackle and there was no (controlled) aggression in his play that Manchester United fans come to admire. I wonder, when he get back to Old Trafford, will we understand what was wrong with him :dunno: Is his ankle still f*cked

I have been told 'stuff' may come out in the newspapers about him after the world cup..... although this may just be an excuse made up by the fans as to why he played so badly

Rooney was back at several points during the match....and running around like a terrier..at times..Shame he still doesn't know the words to the National Anthem...

A few time during the whole game he got back, mainly at set pieces and yes he was running about but when it came to the tackle he seemed to duck out. As for him not knowing the words, I think he is being very intelligent - have you heard some of the singing

Apparently there is a screen in front of the players..bit like an autocue...with a bouncy ball..and the words to the national Anthem...

There is no known computer program that will translate English into Scouse.... :idea1:

Apparently he was voted the most ugliest footballer in the world cup

lets hope his son dont take after his dad for looks.

I remember Peter beardsley was very ugly too, they used to chant 'ugly' at him every time he came out.
but he had a couple of kids, not too sure if they were adopted, but his daughter who had blonde hair, was the most loveliest little girl I have seen, so it just goes to show :?
