Sounds like a bargain, I'll see if I can find a space for one where the soil is deep enough.

To keep leaves ets out of your tank, you may need one of these 3P filters:

Took the plunge and ordered not one but two, as the delivery charge would be the same, and I also get a pump (don't know what sort) and fittings. May have to invest in some screening to disguise them.

Interesting to read the following message

"Due to essential maintenance diy.com is currently unavailable."

I reckon they had a rush on water tanks.

I got the letter as well

Clearly they are lying through their front teeth.

I will be sending them an interesting letter in a minute.

How come the system said "In Stock" when the order was placed then? Normally if they don't have stock you can't even place the order.

not sure where the law stands on this, but I wouldn't be suprised if they were bound to provide it at the advertised cost.

Dear B&Q.

Thank you for the letter dated 24th June 2009.

Whilst I can appreciate human error may have been the cause of your present predicament, Lying through your front teeth is not appreciated.

"our acceptance of your order will create a legally binding contract between us."

Mines being delivered next tuesday :-)

Not really, same letter! Lets see how many on here were stitched up, perhaps a group complaint as well as personal ones might release a few vouchers for the site?

Cheer up Jay, it's not your fault.

Don't think B&Poo have heard the last of it,

Well I guess it is a good way to get hits to your site

It reminds me of the bloke who goes in the shop for a door and asks the price.
Shop owner: " they are £90".

Bloke: "jesus £90, they are only £30 over the road"

Shop owner:"Get one from there then"

Bloke: " I can't as they don't have any left"

Shop owner: " we sell them for £30 when we don't have any as well"

On a serious note though I was in B&Q a few weeks back and they had a fire and surround that was priced incorrectly, about £100 too cheaply. Perhaps this is a new marketing strategy :?
