Ok..
Now, youl have to bear with me on this..I went to look at a job for an old customer last night..exterior wall with a window in it...in one corner at the bottom they have what looks like text book
mould due to circulation problems..but then I noticed some of the paint on the wall is blowing...only in small patches here and there...it looks like the type of 'blow' caused by effloresence..but the walls surface feels dry..
Its NOT down to the painting...I did it last time!!
I do remember having a problem getting the paint to stick well last time...although it was 6 years ago I put it down to an over polishing issue with the plaster..
The patches where the paint is blowing are higher in places than the standard 3 or s feet which I know is an indication of
rising dampThen I spotted an area around a double socket that appeared damp...the classic concentric circles had formed around the socket and have extended out about 3 inches...
Now...I may be wrong, this isnt my game...but im sure I have read or heard somewhere that electrical current can draw water towards it (from a source in the wall)...is this true and a possibility?
Cheers
