I have a basin that is mounted at 840mm high and the current waste pipe is, at the connection to the basin 640mm. The waste pipe exits the room via external wall to the left where of course it is cemented into the wall. Just bought a new basin and want to mount it at the same height. However this new basin has a chrome waste trap that exits at 550mm. How can I bridge the gap back up to the current waste pipe? Can I use a flexable waste pipe or maybe a second trap? Or will these cause problems. I assume the water level in the trap will be raised by doing this? Many thanks.

Have to drill another hole or change the basin.
