Had minor problems before with air in the system knocking out the hot water, usually a simple bleed cures this except for this occasion. It hasn't purged for 48 hrs and it's usually regular as clockwork every 24hrs. Tried the heating last night and there was a strong smell of gas, thought it hadn't ignited but checked this morning and it was firing up but still a slight smell of gas. I did notice s red spot in the flames on one of the burners. Checked the exterior gas connections with some wash up liquid and looked ok. Always concerned about the smell of gas, but there's no smell until I try the heat or hot water. Any advice would be appreciated many thanks.
It's a Vokera 25 HE Compact about 10 years old.
