set one up on a ASUS Linux box for my brother - dead easy to do and seemed pretty good.
He hasn't called me to complain, so I guess it is still working ok _________________ If you have a son, DO NOT name him after a verb ....

Re these sticks, I think the actual modems are all pretty much the same, so IMO the key thing is to decide:
1) where you are planning to use it and check reception of the various network providers (nowadays, that isn't a massive issue, but worth a double-check)
2) how much data you are looking to transfer a month. The various providers structure their tarrifs quite differently and the charges for going over the limits can be horrendous
I was looking at the providers data options recently and I concluded that T-Mobile seemed to be the best cost deal, but this was with data packages on Phones (their "web 'n' walk" deals) - the Dedicated USB Model deals may be different?
Also Three seemed to have some amazing deals on offer, but that was only using data via the phone, not a PC connected to it. _________________ If you have a son, DO NOT name him after a verb ....
