Thanks for looking,...... I have a 05, 1.9, diesel, vivaro with 129,000 on the clock. My problem is when changing down into 2nd from 3rd it graunches (spelling) this is worse when the gearbox is cold and improves after 20 miles or so and is gone after my 70 mile commute. I have tried to get a w/shop manual but can't run them on my computer, so am stuck... I cant afford/ don't like putting motors in to dealers.
This has slowly been getting worse over the last couple of months.

Before I start pulling it apart.... any ideas ?

Regards

Baza

Hi, synchromesh maybe worn down, get it seen to asap. The sooner you get it looked at the less it will cost. no matter what, any part of the gearbox is mega money so bite the bullet.
