Tools for Woodwork, 1940's

The sharpening, use and care of handtools

Saws, planes, chisels, gouges, marking out, spokeshaves, scraper planes....

Any takers? Ideal for a lover of old books, and woodwork.
Thumbright

Sounds really cool, but it would be wasted on me I guess thescruff is the man to give it to.

Nothing like traditional techniques , although we all like a good power tool

I'd love it Hitch, I prefer to use the tools I was taught on.

Have electric plane, router etc but find them a pain, prefer to use hand tools for delicate work.
