Apart from it looking horrendous surely that's a security issue? You can access the hinges so I guess you could technically remove the door from the outside?

I feel sorry for the guy. I don't think he realised at the time until I pointed it out to him. Now they won't answer their phone.

If the door does not already have them, hinge bolts also known as hinge claws, would fix the issue?

From the above link, "Provides added security on external doors with exposed hinges. Prevents doors being forced off their hinges. Protects against common attack methods on door hinges."

Many other types are available.

I've seen lots that open outwards, I've even fitted them myself.

Can't be 100% sure, but I think that one is internally beaded anyway, so was meant to be fitted like that.

Someone in our street has a front door is like this,I’ve often wondered about security issues
