Brush Mate and Zinsser BIN

Post by Croker »

Quick question, and apologies if this has been covered before...

Can you keep a brush that has been used with BIN (shellac based) in a Brush Mate (normally meant for oils)?

Thanks

No. Just use meths to wash the brush out.

Or cling film the brush if you are using it again in a day or so.

I leave the brush in the can and seal the lid all the time saves washing out in meths after every use.
