Post by Chazbaby » Mon Mar 18, 2019 10:11 pm

My Danfoss TS2 seems to be under reading by about 2.5deg C
Any body had accuracy problems like this please?

1. Where is the TS2 located?
2. What are you comparing it with?

Located on a stud wall on the landing, not near a heat source or draught.
I am comparing with two trad thermometers (one mercury and one red fluid) at same height ie 1.5mt

To clarify
When I say under reading it is reading 1degC over the actual temp and I have already adjusted the TP9000 to -1.5degC on the temp compensation function

If you know how far "out" it is could you not set it by that much higher or lower than what you actually want?

TBH I don't care what my room stat says the temperature is, so long as we all feel comfortable, and it turns on and off I am happy. Some times if it's cold outside we turn it up a bit, then like wise if we are feeling too warm, turn it down a bit, never worry what it is actually reading.

We did have a digital stat, got rid of it in the end, the batteries would go flat when you didn't want them to, gone back to a mechanical one. Yes the stat did show it had low battery, but who looks at a room stat all the time?
Fret not, a forum is a collection of opinions. Above, are mine.

Which is correct? Metre or Meter? Click the link to find out more.

Working on anything electrical? have you got a multi meter? why not? Would you hit a nail with a shoe?

If gloom had a voice, it would be me.
