Guttering problems

I have a guttering problem.
For a second time, guttering on my eight-metre dormer has blown down.
I think strong westerly winds come in, hit the slope below the dormer, forcing the air up and rattling the plastic guttering until it comes off. The right guttering is down and the left guttering is also unstable.
I'm wondering whether to just remove the guttering and have none at all. Just let the rain fall over the edge of the dormer roof to the tiled roof below.
Would this work?
Might there be an effect from the wind (and rain!!) now being directed up into the space between the fascia and the felt roof lip, which had previously been defended by the underside of the guttering? I've attached a photo of that space as well - although I'm not quite sure what I'm looking at - wooden baton?

Better fixings ? there could certainly be issues with penetrating damp without the guttering.

800mm centres for guttering clips. what are the screws fixing into? if just a pvc facia then its not a decent fixing

The clip spacing is not too bad, maybe one extra required on that length. It looks like the clips have actually snapped off.

Thanks for that advice - the consensus seems to be I need guttering.
It's a plastic fascia - not sure how to remedy that.
Fixings are certainly no more than 800mm apart.
Yes - the clips are snapped off, but I'm sure it's because of the pressure on them as a result of the roof shape and exposed position.
I guess I'll get some guttering experts in and say I want the best they can supply.
